Pulsed light hair removal is done by specialized handpieces which emit pulses of light into the hair follicles. The light is absorbed by the pigment in the follicles and converted to heat. The heat then loosens the hair and disables the cells responsible for growing new hair. IS LASER HAIR REMOVAL RIGHT FOR ME? Basically, any person that has unwanted hair can be treated. Any body area can be done, except around the eyes. The upper lip, face, neck, underarms, bikini line (partial or full), legs, chest and back are the most common areas to be treated. WHAT CAN I EXPECT RIGHT AFTER THE TREATMENT? Immediately after treatment, you can expect a mild sunburn-like sensation, possibly accompanied by some minor swelling.
